Week 26ish

Gloria Phillips

Gloria Phillips (often simply referred to as paper master) she is a Sr Business Analyst, at Nu Skin, and makes more than Jeff Nemelka and possibly all other RPS competitors. She is currently the longest-running papper thrower in a RPS compition, having run regionally since August 27, 2010. Gloria has a week to enjoy the trophy, but in a 2010 interview with Larry King, Gloria tearfully announced that she might not be here next week to defend her title. She has plans to play RPS at home with friends and family, but she said tearfully "it wont be the same."

Week 25

Christian Johnson
Chris's initial RPS voyage came at a critical time of emerging modern computer Nerds and motorcycles competition between developing Rock seeking the Trophy. In this sociopolitical climate, Chris's far-fetched scheme won the attention of Tony Furano a Sr Market Analys
. Severely underestimating the circumference of the the papper, he estimated that a westward tie from Tony. If true, this would allow another draw but with one hand. Following his plotted course, he did tie Tony in a two handed match for the Trophy. Mistaking the hands he encountered for the scissors, he referred to the paper as "knuckles". There is a linguistic urban legend that he actually named them "papel", (paper in Spanish), and that in day knuckles was called papel, but he never used the phrase "knuckles" and papel had been called papel for centuries and the name 'knuckles' had become common way before Chris was born.

week 24

Todd Wakefield
An analyst from Seans team was hoping to become the first Todd on the RPS site! (...that this blogger knows about, anyway.) I do not know how to pronounce his name, but this is clearly a candidate I can support. Not with my vote, because I don't report to Sean, but with in Todd spirit is a cheated bear wanting his honey.

Also, and I'm not making this up, he names his big accomplishment in the RPS challenges as "the double twister wakefield." It will be fun to watch as Todds double twister takes to the other opponents in the future.

Week 23

Brian Eastwood

If you have ever seen Gladiator, you would understand Brains motivation for getting this trophy. He looks at Rachel seat as the Leader of Rome or Greece wherever that movie took place. And he wants all to know he was still alive and is ready to take that trophy when he pleases.

Go home to your quite house and your kid running towards you and in the distant look at your wife.

We all respect the Gladiator.

Week 22

Jacob Rosenthal

Every few weeks, someone new wins the RPS Trophy for their first time. So the crowning Jacob Rosenthal on Friday wasn't unusual, certainly not unexpected.

But this one definitely was unique.

The whole RPS group should feel proud of this honor. Jacob didn't drop into town from AEP., or US Web, like the previous Champions who have won the Trophy, Rachel Seat and Nate Sommers. Jacob is coming from the Analytics team who washed up champion Brian Eastwood came from. It appears this Analytics team is showing they are a force to not be reckoned with.

Week 21

Nate Sommers

On this day the championship round was heavily delayed. Despite the adversity to have the RPS tournament a little group gathered arms to fight for the Trophy. Nate was able to beat four people. This was kind of like a future Miami Heat victory not that big of a deal.

Week 20

Rachel Seat

No you don't need to get your your eyes checked, what you're seeing is true. She's at it again- sweeping through the rest of the competition like its her job. At this rate maybe she should make it her job and go compete with the big boys at the World RPS Society. At any rate, the smile says it all.. she's knows she can win at will.

Week 19ish

Grace Chan
On June 11, 2010, Chan declared herself eligible for the 2009 RPS Draft. Chan decided to forgo her final three seasons of amateur RPS. On June 25, 2010, Chan was selected by the excel group with the fourth overall pick in the 2010 RPS Draft.
On June 11, 2010, Chan was named RPS NSE Conference Rookie of the Month for games played from the beginning of the season through July. During that time she averaged 18.8 rocks, 5.0 paper, 4.7 scissors per game.
On June 11, 2010, she was instrumental in leading herself in a two handed deficit to beat THE Jeff Nemelka.

Week 18ish

Rachel Seat

Rachel is a RPS Champion who is capable of playing the Rock. She is considered one of the most complete players in the RPS, has been selected to every All-RPS Team since 2009, and has been featured in the last twelve RPS All-Star games.[1] Sports writers and sports casters have frequently compared Rachel to Jade Fowler, a comparison Rachel dislikes. In 2007, an RPS poll of sportsRPSwriters voted her as the second best throwing arm in RPS history behind Jade Fowler. she is a prolific hand, averaging 25.3 rocks per game for her career, along with 5.3 paper, 4.7 scissors, and 1.5 wins (as of the end of the 2009–2010 regular season). she is known for her ability to read people for herself. she shares the single-game RPS record for scissors thrown with twelve. Rachel is often cited as one of the most prolific face readers in the RPS. she utilizes her speed and prophetic ability to elude defenders to finish at the hand. Both TNT and Sporting News named Rachel the "RPS Player of the Decade" for 2000-09.

Week 17ish

Jared Warburton

To prepare for the fight, Jared trains with a 1920s-era hand-bantamweight grandma and Two Jacks owner, Jack Gathercoal, while Jared's good friend, Jeff Nemelka, a web plant worker, lets him practice his punches on his face.

Friday, May 21, 2010

Week 16ish

Rachel Seat

Rachel's RPS skills were extended far beyond the natural limits by the effects of possessing the RPS Trophy for over a month. Her one desire was to possess the Trophy that had enslaved her.

Wednesday, March 24, 2010

Week 15ish

Rachel Seat

For about a week Rachel has been all gungho to get the RPS battle going. She said that the almost naked indian told her in a dream that she was going to be the victor with the next match.

Not only did Rachel take the Trophy she still had both her hands available for a RPS throw down. Congrats to Rachel on her several victories in RPS.

Week 13 & 14

BRIAN EASTWOOD

After taking advantage of Jeff while he wasn't at his desk Brian was able to take the Trophy. The nice thing is Brian was able to defend it this last week. We apploud Brian with a little bit of disgust for his accomplishments. Way to go with your 2 week win streak.

Week 12

Jeff Nemelka

Jeff has joined the RPS two time Champion! With sweat and Tears Nemelka seems to find a way to the top. He has always proven himself valiant in anything he touches. Congratulations to you Mr. Nemelka for yet again another championship moment.

Thursday, February 4, 2010

Week 11

Jared Warburton

Jared has joined the 2x champion club! Congrats to him and his seek for the GOLDEN TROPHY. It is very obvious that he has been struck with the RPS greed. His eye is on the goal at every moment of time. A very respectable character in the opinions of the RPS Leaders.

Ken the former leader was very disappointed he missed this match. Stay tuned to see this drama happen with Jared and ken.

Week 10

Ken Shoell

After an extended week for Julie, Ken came out with skills none of us thought existed. He kept both hands of weapons till the very end of the game. We all were very impressed. All Kens competitors agree, after he won the trophy he sure doesn't look happy.

Week 9

Julie Poulsen
Has been very faithful in working to the top. She has come in second place a many of times. But she never gave up. Her persistency and positive attitude has always been what has kept her strength in this game. I say this because of the fierce loser Garret who is extremely aggravated with RPS because he can't win the Jeff Nemelka RPS trophy.

We congratulate you Julie for joining the stand of WINNERS. And hope you keep that positive attitude.
